The National Lurcher and Racing Club will be running the Lurcher showing at the Shropshire Game and Country Fair, Chetwynd Park, Newport, Shropshire TF10 8AA. Events include simulated coursing (in main ring ) entries 10 am at main ring Lurcher showing will be a qualifier for the NL&RC Chatsworth Championship(Adult showing and Junior Handler) Showing will also be a qualifier for the adult members championship, the final of which will be held at South Wingfield 3rd October. Showing starts 12 noon

CHATSWORTH COUNTRY FAIR SEPTEMBER 3rd 4th & 5th
The National Lurcher and Racing Club will be running the Lurcher events at the Chatsworth Country Fair, Chatsworth House Derbyshire on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3rd, 4th, and 5th. September.
Friday morning 10a.m. Superdog event. This event is mainly for on site members but anyone with a Lurcher is welcome to join in and compete.
Saturdays events will include Simulated coursing (first dogs in slips 9a.m.), Straight racing, Hurdle racing, Long jump and Showing. The Junior Handler Championship will be at approx 1pm. on Saturday. Junior handler qualifiers book in at the entry tent between 11 am and 12.45pm. Showing will begin after the Junior Handler Championship.
Sundays events will include Simulated coursing (first dogs in slips 9am )Straight racing, Hurdle racing and Showing. All running events will take place in the morning, showing will begin at 12 noon (last chance to qualify). The N.L.&R.C. Championship will take place at 4pm. All qualified entrants must book in between 1.30pm and 3:15pm at the entry tent.
Use the Baslow entrance (Golden Gates) to access the Lurcher car park. PLEASE NOTE:- THERE IS NO PUBLIC CAMPING IN THE LURCHER AREA AT CHATSWORTH, CAMPING IS BY INVITATION ONLY.
